DREAM vs. Ambush Academy (16-8 - Vertigo)
Even before the match, it was clear that with a single victory we were secured the championship. Our first showdown was against Ambush Academy, which was in last place. At the same time, we came out on one of our favorite maps: it was all a little too perfect, and we felt maybe a tooth too comfortable. Although Ambush came straight from a win against IDK, their first win of the season, they got a little too many openings. However, they tightened up after halfway, where they no longer stood a chance.
Let's take it from the end. Most kills, highest k / d and most opening kills. Celebrations helped ensure the gold came home already in tonight's first match.
DREAM vs. Rydhave (16-2 - Train)
It was great to get 'revenge' against Rydhave. Rydhave was our first opponents of the season, where 1500 Danes watched and amused ourselves that we were going to lose to them. Then we luckily made a comeback at the last minute, and we also won again today - this time in a much more superior way. The match itself there is not much to write home about, we took one round after another and after less than half an hour, the match was 14-0 to us. Unfortunately, the egg did not show up.
It was pure play school for the captain. The opponents never got a chance, which is clear with a 2.20 rating and 24-4 score.
DREAM vs. Fjerritslev (16-13 - Vertigo)
This showdown had a lot of exciting stuff in the tile oven. The first showdown of the season against them offered an overtime victory, followed by a lot of fun "twitter steak". They only thought they had lost due to one of the players' internet problems. Therefore, a gentlemen's agreement was actually entered into, to play the same map in the return match, to decide once and for all who is really the best. And so we pulled the longest straw, again.
